Created an app for Washington Post Live (our conference business) to help eventgoers connect.

An app for conference-goers

Worked with producers from our Washington Post Live team to define strategy and architect an app that supports our conference business. Worked in an agile environment with a team of native app engineers to build a dual platform app that connects conference attendees, provides a social platform, an up-to-date schedule and background for speakers and attendees for our popular Washington Post Live events.

All in one place

Created the app in such a way that all conference information: events, speakers, hashtags, wifi password, parking information and everything useful could be found in one place, and easily. Also created an admin dashboard component that allows editors to easily customize the content appearing in the app. Prioritized feature requests, worked with engineers to determine which features to tackle in Sprints and worked directly with the Washington Post Live team to ensure our goals were met.
